Hiking Club
The hiking club is made up of a group of passionate members who love to explore the outdoors and see various pretty views in Connecticut. They go on one hike a month. The next group hike is scheduled for Wednesday Sept. 23 at 10:00 am. A guided hike @ Flanders Nature Center (596 Flanders Road).

Fishing Club
This club is led by Don Mayers, who is a member of the elderly commission.
Please make note of the following dates:
Sunday Sept. 27th: Blue Crabbing in Milford, CT.
Sunday October 11th: Tog fishing on Middlebank II Bpt., CT - Boat leaves at 7:00 am.
Tuesday October 20th: Catfish & Apizza at Osborndale in Derby, CT - Noon to 4:30pm

Book Club
The book the club will be reading this month is titled Remarkably Bright Creatures a bestselling debut novel by American author Shelby Van Pelt.
Group meeting are on the last Tuesday of the month at 1 pm.

Foot Clinic
Second Tuesday of each month
Make an appointment with April to have your toe nails trimmed, filed and cleaned, reduction of thickened nails, smoothing of corns and callouses, massaging, applying lotion and powdering of feet by a specially trained registered nurse working with Dancing Feet LLC. If you are dia-betic, a doctor's note will be needed. Pedi-Care fee is $45 for a 20-minute visit and is not covered by insurance.

Joy of Music Resturns!

The Joy of Music returns! The Joy of Music takes place weekly at the Oxford Senior Center Library. New participants are welcome. Teachers Marion and Peter Van Ness will help students learn how to read basic music notation and how to play simple tunes on the key board.
